Depending on your tier, it may also include copy editing, logo refinement, SEO metadata, and a new visual identity layer. We don't start from scratch unless you want us to; we work with what's there and make it better.
For most refreshes, yes — we'll need editor or admin access to your CMS (WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, etc.). We never store your credentials, and you can revoke access immediately after the session. If you're on a platform we can work with directly through code, we can also work from a repo and hand you a deployable build.
A well-done refresh should improve your SEO — we update metadata, improve heading structure, fix missing alt text, and optimize page speed, all of which signal quality to search engines. We don't change your URL structure without discussing it first. If your site has existing rankings you care about, tell us upfront and we'll be surgical.
